ABOUT US

#Westside Santa Paula became a new community church in 2010. It was birthed out of the ministry of Westside Family Church in Wasco, Ca. and still serves as a 2nd church for Westside Wasco.
We are a spirit filled community of faith that believes in the power of a loving relationship with God, our neighbors, and the community we live in. Our faith focuses on the principles of the Bible, recieving salvation through believing in Jesus Christ, & being led by the Holy Spirit to be followers of Jesus.

To lead, teach, or love without servitude is to do so outside the standard of pure religion and true ministry. We exist to serve not be served. We do this when we speak, sing, give, talk, listen, pray, cry, uplift, encourage, correct, and fellowship. We are "SERVANTS".

    WORSHIP GATHERING:
    SUNDAYS

    We worship through music, word, media, and personal ministry. We also have 2 children services that is creative and energetic and consist of bible lessons, games, prayer time, and fun interaction.

    THRIVE: KIDS & YOUTH
    THURSDAYS

    We have been blessed with alot of kids and have been given the responsibility to teach them in the ways of God.
    Our Thursday gatherings is a fun energetic kids service that is family friendly (so parents are encouraged to come).
    We also have a youth gathering that is fun and challenging for our students.
    The 1st Thursday of each month is "Pizza Night" for all who come.

    Making a difference in our community beyond our four walls is just as important as what we do with in our four walls.
    Through out the year we host various outreaches that are done with our community in mind.
    Some of these events include: carinvals, movie nights, bbq's, Christmas specials, give aways, food distribution, ect.

Jonathan & LaRonna Rhodes

LEAD PASTORS: Jonathan & LaRonna started in fultime ministry in 1995. They have worked in various forms of ministry that includes: Senior, Lead, Plant, and Student Pastors, Youth Ministries Directors, Outreach Directors, Mission Project Leaders, and National MinistrySpeakers. Because of these opportunities to serve the body of Christ, God has shaped LaRonna & Jonathan into what they are today and positioned their life to express his truth with passion, insight, and relevance.
Jonathan & LaRonna have a heart for people. They have a desire to help people reach their God given dreams, assist them in time of needs, & lead people into a close relationship with the Heavenly Father.

LaRonna & Jonathan have been married for 19 years and have 2 children(Emerald & Koa) with a 3rd on the way, and a Pit Bull named Salty and Roxy the Chihuahua.
Jonathan is a 38 year old adventurer who loves anything with some thrill or risk involved. He currenty rides dirt bikes, street bikes, & mountain bikes. While periodically surfing and rock climbing as well.
LaRonna is 38 years young and loves to thrift shop for cool retro things, host fun parties or gatherings, and also enjoys the outdoors with her family.
